DIY roundup: Notebook

Hello people,

I'm going to show you around in the world of notebooks a little.
You might think, why DIY a notebook? They're not that expensive.
First of  all, if there is a cheaper possibility, I'm in.
Second of all, this is much more fun!
And third of all, plain notebooks are boring, if you have seen the possibilities of a custom made notebook, I guarantee that you'd want to make it! And above all, it's easy!

I have been looking around on the internet (craftgawker for example) and found a bunch of wonderful DIY's about things that have something to do with it, so I thought I would share them with you.

Notebooks come in many forms; The most popular one: the household notebook (a notebook where you keep track of your finances)
Also there are travel notebooks (little books where you can write down your memories about your holiday)
I like notebooks that you carry around you and write inspiration in when it comes to you.
But you have the freedom to do whatever you want with it!

But first things first: The making of the notebook itself.
Here is a little roundup of notebook DIY's.
Notebooks come in many forms and shapes, these are a couple of them.

Second one by Stars for streetlights
This one is fabulous! I just love the idea of this notebook.

Next: what to fill your pages with?

Let's start with blank pages but, if you're ready for something more, I have a little roundup of some great printables you could use.
Ahh printables, there are so many out there.
So many different ones, that is.

First one by simple as that blog
This is a great list of wonderful travel printables.

Second one by The flourishing abode
This is a great printable for starting bloggers, comes with some wonderful tips too!

Third one by Creme de la craft
This printable is great for a notepad, but can obviously also be used in notebooks.

Look around the internet for some more printables, there are awesome ones out there!
You can also look for stationary, instead of boring blank pages.

And then, how to spice up your boring notebook?

Once you have your notebook, and filled it up with lot's of stationary and printables.
Are you done? No way!
This is where the fun really starts!

So what do you think?

New layout + free time!

Hello everyone,
It's me again, it's been ages!

I finished school for this year so I finally have some time for my blog. (yay)
As you may have seen, I changed the layout for my blog.
What do you think? A lot better huh?
I also need to make some new social media buttons, so I will change the one I have now into some free ones found on the internet.

I'm determined to really put my all in this blog.
I'm going to feature some awesome DIY's, make some myself, make some more roundups, do some more polymer clay jewelry, show you some things I love, show you some things that really inspired me and I might even talk about serious stuff.

Do you have any suggestions? Any ideas? Or maybe you just have something fun to say to me.
You are welcome to tell me.

DIY roundup: Necklaces

Hello everyone.

This is another DIY roundup, this time: Necklaces!
I love to make necklaces from polymer clay, and I'm going to make some of fabric, like these.
There are some awesom DIY necklaces out there, and I will show you some.
Here we go!

Found here.
I love this, it's the perfect accessory for a boring plain tank top, like on the picture.

This looks like you can buy it straight from a shop, no?
This necklace tutorial is found here.
I'm really going to use this style to create loads of necklaces.

This is great, since I have some old locks lying around and I never knew what to do with them!
Well here you go, a wonderful lock necklace.
Tutorial here.

This one has got to be my favourite.
It's simple, but so very cute.
It can be found here.

This necklace is great, because you pretty much don't need to go anywhere to make it, everyone has some old pencils!
I'm not very keen on the necklace made from the end bits.
I would use it to make somethin else, like a fridge magnet or a coaster.
It can be found here.

I just bought some beads yesterday, so I'm going to make this as soon as I can.
It's just so wonderful.
Tutorial can be found here.

What I love about this tutorial is that it doesn't only teach me how to make a very cute necklace, it also teaches me how to make tassels. This I can use to make so many other things!
This tutorial can be found here.

If I ever find some pom pom trim, I have to make this.
Found here.

This is also a very creative necklace, mad with washers!
Found here.

Well, that's it.
There are many, many more lovely DIY necklaces around.
If you find any, show them to me!

See you all next time!

Hello everyone, Sorry for my absence, I'm pretty busy. I decided to make a roundup of DIY projects that really inspired me. This time: Fabric flowers! This is in no particular order.

This beautiful lace flower is made by Missie Krissie.
Tutorial is here.
I really love this one, and can't wait to make some.

These adorable fabric peonies are made by creature comforts.
Tutorail can be found here.
The way that they made the petals is really nice and realistic.

A more simple but very cute flower by tousled day.
The tutorial can be found here.

Okay, this isn't really a flower, although it can be used to make flowers.
I really like it, simple and pretty.
I found it here.

This one is really nice too, a different style than the others.
Well, it would be boring if I only posted the same flowers over and over again right?
Made by Something about Katie and the tutorial is found here.

These are really pretty.
I found the tutorial here: here.

This is another wonderful style of making fabric flowers.
Found here.

This flower is standard, and doens't seem very difficult.
But it's also very pretty, and a wonderful accessory.
Found here.

That sure were a lot of flowers.
I love all of them, and I'm going to try to make them all, since I have lot's of scrap fabric.
If you have any suggestions on other DIY's, please do tell me, I can't wait to see them.

I'm going to do some more DIY roundups, until I have more free time.
Once I have some free time, I will make some tutorials myself. (:

See you all next time!

Things I love: Cameras

I love old cameras.
I find them on flea markets or anywhere.
Two of them were in a case, and it took me quite a while to figure out how to take them out of it.
So all this time I've had these awesome cameras and I didn't even know how epic they where.
I wonder how old they are ( probably not anything special)

This is my favourite one, it looks very old.
